my Sukar oud
Hi guys! This is my first post on this site, I'm Giuseppe from Rome, I guess I'm the only italian in this group (as usual...). I'm posting a couple of
pics of my new Sukar oud, bought in Tunisia in August. What do you guys think about it?
Regards, Giuseppe.

Hello
Hay Giuseppe,
This is your friend Spyro.
Your picture didn't upload. Is it large ? There is a limit on size here.
You can e-mail it to one of the Administrators here and they can resize it for you for posting.
Good luck
Spyros C.

Coincidence
Hey Giuseppe,
I started posting my message one microsecond before you reposted the picture. Don't worry about it, it came through fine. Ignore my previous
message.
Nice oud ! Did you get it from Sukkar himself ?
Spyros C.

Well Akram, it's definitely a brilliant oud brand. The design is very modern and fits perfectly the way i like it, the sound is brilliant, very
powerfull in the mid and hi frequencies. It's a little poor on basses, but I guess it's normal in a brand new instrument (mine has been done in march
2005). It's true what I read in some forums, it buzzes a little on the fingerboard. I've tried to contact Ibrahim Sukar via email for string
suggestions but he didn't answer me yet (well, I don't know if he knows English, since his website is just in Arabic). Anyway, well done, you've
ordered a lovely instrument...bye, Giuseppe

Hi Spyros! well, I bought it in Tunisia this summer during my vacation...I didn't even know Sukar Ouds...and it's been cheap also! How's life mate?
I've finished my tutorial book already, it's hard to practice with someone or find a proper teacher here in Italy. Does anybody know a talented oud
player in Rome?
Giuseppe.
