Jameel,
I had Volume 1 of Charbel Rouhana's method some time ago, but later sold it. As far as I can remember, it started with major/minor scales, exercises
etc. and was based on a more 'Western' style of teaching. I'm pretty sure this volume did not include any quarter-tones.
Sorry I can't be of any more help.
Best wishes
David

Hello Jameel,
i have Vol 2 and3. I think is a good Method, a lot of exercises and musical pieces from original compositions of Charbel to El Sunbati to orther
Classical Arab pieces ..... and Bach!! So as David says it has some Western music style, but there are also ornaments and quarter tones study
parts....

Thanks, Elias and David. I appreciate it. One of the books is supposed to have Cinucen Tanrikorur's Samai Nahawand in Arabic notation in it. Can you
confirm this? (I have it in Turkish notation, but just don't have the time to transcribe it)

Hi Jameel,
I don't believe that Tanrikorur's Samai is included in Rouhana's method. I just went through the table of contents of all three volumes to confirm
this.
