Newbie in this!
Salam everybody!
i am really a newbie in this and well I just got myself an oud less than a month ago. I have never had any teacher or what so ever but well as i did
play music in my younger days i though what the heck. I might as well try this out. Hence after Listening to Omar Naqshibandi on the rare recordings
of this page I decided to try this out
Do tell me how you feel abt it and yeah comments and critics pls. This help me to be a better player tomorrow.
Salam
Hakeem

Hello Champ,
That was a very brave post. I am sure you have ears for music otherwise you would not have been able to get that far.
My comment ... I noticed that some of your strings were not tunned properly.
It is very important to tune your oud to a tunner or to other instrument before you play. Because if it is not tunned you could end up playing the
wrong notes or using the wrong fingers.
Good luck.
Kind Regards,
