Finger Weights for Musicians

Hi Guys,

I ran into this intersting tool on the web:

http://www.digittechnologies.com/
http://www.guitarmusician.com/guitarmusn/finger-weights.htm

The question is:
Has any member of this forum tried them?

Thanks,

Hatem

I'd get some professional players' opinion about these. Pianists have been known to ruin their fingers using these. Muscle strength of fingers is best developed by lots of playing, not by weights. A muscle-bound musician is a catastrophe. Dexterity and lightning neuro-muscular coordination are a zillion times more important than huge muscles in the fingers. So...be very wary of this stuff!

Stay away from these. Playing stringed instruments has nothing to do with strength in the hands. Dexterity and control is what you want.
