Hi Kitharidis,
I do suggest that you contact Samir Azar:
http://www.samir-oud.8m.com/products.htm
He is a very capable luthier and his prices are reasonable.
Good luck,
Hatem
P.S.
Here is a link to the oud he built for me:

Yeah... but he's showing you something under 200$
Samir's ouds are really nice but they are not in the same price range.
Kitharidis: The oud your showing from the nile shop is a beginer oud. You will pay close to 200$ plus shipping from egypt in the end it will cost you
enough money. Its not a professional instrument so the sound will not be the best and the quality will not be the best either.
And in average the people who have bought these kind of ouds usualy want to buy a new one after one year. Because to keep playing oud you need to
enjoy the sound and you need to enjoy the feel of it.
If not you will probably quit... or want a new one.
So I sugest you save a little more and get something a little bit better so you can enjoy it for longer. Thats what I would do.
There are many professional makers here who have really nice ouds. Look around and read up on the forrums to figure out what you want and then decide.
