Udi Hrant plays Semai Setaraban (Near Eastern Airs)
Hey everybody,
I absolutely love Udi Hrant. Check out this semai from his CD, The Early Recordings Vol. II. This CD and Vol. I are available on the Traditional
Crossroads website. These are must have CDs in my opinion.
Enjoy,
Mike

Batzanos version
Udi Hrant was just amazing. Here is another version of the same piece, in hyperdrive by Batzanos and company.

WHAT AN UNBELIEVABLE TAKASSIM BY BACANOS! Props to the guy... Udi comin through as usual. I'm always impressed by that guy. And of course,
Bacanos' rendition of the samai is great as well.
This is definitely what people should listen to if they want to hear ingenuity. Genius is going against the norm while still making sense.

P.S. Bring on some more!
