I noticed that the floating wooden bridge pickup (note - not a fixed bridge and saddle system like Najarian) is not a well known "commercial" brand
like Fishman, at least not from what I have noticed - the 9v powered system has 4 control knobs adjusting the sensitivity/volume across the whole
bridge, hence you get some spill from the low range strings into the pickup point at the top end - the strings are therefore not isolated to a
particular pickup point.
Thus I am finding the lower end of the range a little dominating and the top end somewhat understated.
I did receive the Oud detuned of course, and it is still settling in, and I am not discounting something getting bumped in the electrics during
transit - but I was wondering whether there was anyone else with a Sukar who is familiar with what I am encountering and any suggestions for improving
performance or adjustments that I might need to make?
