I know that there has been some discussion about the differences between spruce and cedar, but I'd be interested in hearing more. If nothing else, does anyone else find the cedar top on this oud by Mr. Ghadban beautiful in an unusual way. I have never seen this pattern of grain before in a top.

I agree Roy, very nice face. Looks very personal. As if someone cut a tree in their backyard and made a oud out of it.
