I'm currently working on an early 70's Khalifa. If I tap the top anywhere on the lower part of the face I can hear a slight buzzing sound. All the
braces seem tight to the face and I can't find anything loose in the instrument. I've got the main rosette out (that's how I can feel all the braces)
and the small rosettes seem to be well attached. Are there any tricks for finding the source of buzzes like this? The buzz is not very pronouced and I
didn't notice it playing when I previously had the instrument strung up but I'd sure like to find the source before I replace the main rosette and do
the final setup on the instrument.
