Here are some pictures from last weekend's trip to Las Vegas. Me and some buddies were there during the World Series of Poker Main Event. First place
will win over 10 million bucks this year. So all the huge names in poker, plus around 9000 other people were there to play in the tournament. It was
very fun to meet these people, and the trip overall was a blast considering I returned from Vegas only 200 bucks down for the weekend. That included
air fair, accomodations, taxis, and entertainment. Believe it or not, I actually was up gambling. Woo hoo!
The first picture is with Scotty Nguyen. A super friendly and very cool guy. I love watching him play on tv. Lots of entertainment.
Second one is with Joe Hachem. Last year's main event winner. He's Lebanese originally, and now lives in Australia. We were talking in Arabic, and he
called me "habibi". :-)
Third picture is with Annie Duke. Sister of Howard Lederer, and one of the top female players in the world.
Fourth is with Evelyn Ng. Another top female player. This was taken right after she got knocked out of the main event. She was nice enough to stop and
take the picture, even though she was noticeably upset. She didn't want to talk about the hand that knocked her out.
Fifth picture is with Mark Seif. He was a lawyer in the L.A. area, turned pro poker player and tv announcer. Super nice guy as well, and I believe he
is Egyptian.
Last picture is with Andy Bloch. He was knocked out of the main event on the first day. He doesn't look too upset in the picture though. That is
probably because he finished 1st in the 50K-Buy In-No Limit Tournament held earlier. He won over a million bucks. I'd be smiling too!

Very nice shots Mike. I gotta get your recipe for saving money. The last time I went to Vegas it cost me a lot more than $200 and I didn't go near the
tables. I guess the airfare was a bit higher though.
You shouldn't have been surprised by Joe Hachem, we Australians call everyone habibi.
Regards,
Greg
