Haluk learner oud sample
Here's a sample of me noodling on a learner oud from Haluk. I thought since they're reccomended so much it would be nice to have some samples of what
you can expect from recording them.
The strings are very old, probably almost a year or so. Not too much in the way of EQ other than cutting the highs to make up for my cheap mic.

I'm a longtime cubase user. I really like the darbuka... it could be much better but I still think it is a good practice tool.

Here's some noodling so you can compare different strings. This is a new set of the D'addario strings. I definately prefer the la bellas.

...how will it sound like with la bella or aqulia nylcut strings on it.....
...yes, the darbuka plug in could be much better but i love to have it
bevor i was using "propellerhead recycle" and "reason" for the grooves
