Oud Stands
Does anybody know where on the web can I buy oud stand such as the one in the photo ?

If you live in the U.S. I beleive the person who bought these stands got them from guitar center( a music chain found primarliy in the west coast).
You can try musiciansfriend.com or email mike and ask him for the gentlemans personal email if he still has it and see if the guy is willing to part
with his stands. also samir azar in syria i beleive has a similar design if u are in the middle east.
and I dont think it would hurt to ask jameel or dr.oud if they can make one for you.

You know Jameel, it would be pretty nice if you offered oud stands on your website! This is a very commonly requested product that is not very easy to
obtain.

A wood stand in which the oud sits facing out would be nice. There are some on the market, but they are pricey:

I'm working on an oud stand, designed specifically for oud. I'll post some prototype pictures in the next few days. I made one for myself to test the
design from simple plywood and it's looking and working great. As soon as I get one done in a nice wood, I'll have them available for sale.
