AL OUD (collection of streaming video)
Hi,
I am Ashraf and I'm new in here. It's a great place for oud music.
I am very happy for having found this place. Thanks to everybody
for their great work & contributions - it is highly appreciated.
My contribution would be this: I made a sort of video blog where everyone can link and embedd all oud related clips from google video,
youtube.....etc. (you can do a meta search directly from there - seaching all the sites, then just select the ones you like and hit the submit button
- besides, there is no need to register).
In this way we got all the oud streams on one page and no need to run into dutch pages..... What do you think? Tell me.
Watch some of the Sudanese oud videos - I don't think they have been posted here before - but I'm not sure about that..

thanks for the post, as I am Sudanese I was overwhelmed by the vast amount of Sudanese music clips you managed to accumulate...
it was a problem for me to do so as due to work and other commitments.
Thanx again Ashraf, and I hope other forum members can have access to your site to download and familiarise with Sudanese music.

I, too, enjoyed all the Sudanese music. A lot of it reminds me of traditional Appalachian music, which was very surprising.

so the first one i saw was khaled ben yahia trio and all i can say is
those guys just brought the pain (wu tang clan reference for those who dont know)

I am just wondering who is that south east asian guy in on of those clips. Interesting style of playing, though he sounds a bit like a show off.
besides his risha is something different look slike a card. Wonder what is that?
