Advantage and dis advantage
hey all
I was just wondering what is the advantage and dis advantage on using one full peice of a sound board or 2 halves. i was just wondering to make the
face.

There is no apparent advantage to having less pieces in the face. Many Nahats were made with 4 picees, and one of my best ouds has 5. I don't think
you will find any good quality tonewood wide enough to make a single piece face anyway.
