Thomastik-Infeld strings

I'm now carrying this brand. They only offer Arabic tuning, and only one set includes the single bass, so that's the one I'm carrying.

That's great Jameelo. Afif swears by those strings. It's all he uses.

Hi Jameel, have you tried these strings out? I wondering how they compare with other "arabic" strings? Is this a new set by them, or is this the
same set that used to be called "315AE" The packaging is also different.

And I said I wasn't going to try another brand of strings . . .Maybe on my next oud )

I haven't had a chance to try them yet. But like Mike said, Afif swears by them. I literally just got these in the mail yesterday. Their labelling
system is a bit strange. They also claim to sell a light, medium and heavy in all the sets, but my distributor doesn't carry them--just the mediums.
The set I'm carrying has the dd wound ( I dont think anyone likes this course plain---too thick!) and comes with a single bass for the C/D bam string.
It's really the only set worth offering if you ask me.
