I need an oud
Hi all...
I own a crappy oud I once purchased through ebay - I need to get a quality, affordable, attractive oud. Please send me recommendations and thoughts.

Go for sukar ouds, less expensive (Depends on the model #) and good sound projection and quality (Not very well made/ finished though) but will
definately take you to the next level...

Hi Theraplayer,
The best luthier arround is Samir Azar!!!!!!!
I say this after testing and owning few ouds made by Iraqi,Tunisian, and Egyptian makers.
Samir is a great talent and his work is comparable to the best luthiers around. The difference is: He sells them at affordable prices.
Also, the risk of buying an oud from the internet is not there!!!!!

Hi theraplayer!!!
I have Samir Azar´s oud and buzok and are very very good instruments. both instruments sound ver well and both are easy to play in all the
fingerboard and the work is very clean.
I make guitars and I like very much the instruments of Azar, and he is very friendly and good person...
