maker of this oud
I have this old oud and have checked it out for a label, even used a camera to take pictures on the inside with no results. I did see that the top
block is scooped out on both sides. It is in good condition, the back is make of rosewood and plane or maple. I had an oud player comment that the
action is excellent and very easy to play and the sound is very sweet. the beak at the end of the peg box is scrolled but it is tapered which makes me
think that the maker was Greek and not Turkish. I will try to post a few pictures.

Forgot to mention that there are 12 pegs and 12 holes on the bridge 1 for the bottom string then 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, strings and one for the top. It is
strung as an eleven stinged. If another string were added to the bottom making it a 12 string what would it be tuned to?
