someone on another list is visiting syria soon to see Qala'at al-Hosn (Krak des Chevaliers - medieval castle) and would like to know if there's any
music or poetry, perhaps, associated with the site.
At summer there's a great festival held there in the castle, but not sure there's anything there now.
However in Palmyra there's Palmyra International Art Festival in May 05-15 I heard that they are bringing some large Turkish Bands to perform some
authentic Turkish music there and i guess it would be very nice to see it. The atmosphere there during the fest is honestly very phenomenal and surely
worth visiting.
