Is this oud I bought a Georges Nahat ?
I had a sudden love for this beautiful oud even if I do not play it. I bought it 1 881 $ .I play violin instead. Is this a George Nahat ?

Georgy Nahat
I believe the price you paid is justified.
I looked at it and was considering it as well, and think that it is most likely genuine with repairs.
They had to have worked on the ribs, because the label on the inside was partly destroyed, but the label is an original Georgy Nahat. I don't know
about the 1930 date, it's not clear in the pictures.
There are many elements of this oud that are definitely Nahat elements.
Of course, one has to see it up close to be more certain.
