beginers seeking advice

We had this problem a while ago about people jumping to the first occasion to promote their oud makers when a beginer seeks advice.

this is the oud maker page.
it was created to be an unbiased source of info on different makers. it should be where beginers are directed to for information. If they have questions on a specific maker then they can ask for more info.

Sure its nice to share a good experience with one maker. But it shouldnt be a race to get there asap and plug the favorite makers.

and on top of that. There are too many members that contribute in absolutely noway to the forum but the only thing that seems to interest them is making adds on the buy and sell forum. Its getting ridiculous.

I agree. I'm MUCH more apt to buy from one of the makers who take part in discussions and offer insight into their craft than I am the ones who just come here to spam.
