2 questions about Jamil Bachir
Hi !
I am looking for two things:
- A recording and/or its score (written music) of a song called “shalalat” (waterfall), composed by oud player Jamil Bachir.
- Jamil Bachir wrote an oud method (2 books). I would like to know where I can see it ( either buy a copy, or borrow it and make a photocopy or
something)
Does anyone on the list have ideas/tips on how to find these two things ?

Hello Ariel and welcome to the forum.
I use the method of Jamil Bachir. I've made photocopies of the book of my teacher. And his book is already a (bad) photocopy of the book coming
directly from Baghdad i think. I made some scan of the part of the book i use to improve quality. I can share it.
He has another specimen of better quality of which i only have photocopies, no scan. I can scan these when i'll have some time.
I don't know if the book is available to buy. I don't think so.
Let me know if you are interrested.
Unfortunately, i don't know "Shalalat".
