This is a far fetched guess, but it's worth a try.

There's a plugin that comes with skype that notes numbers on websites and makes them "dialable" -so to speak- from the webpage.

I don't remember the name of that option, but you might want to try to reinstall skype .. and detail in the installation that you don't want that option.

Another thing to try that is not related to skype, is to to repair the internet explore itself. You can do this through to to Add/Remove programs, chose windows and chose explorer. It should then ask you about repairing exploring, in addition to giving the options of removing it.

By the way, have you updated to explorer 7.0. recently? .. It doesn't work well with many setups of windows XP. Personally, I have tried it on several computers and a lot of problems appeared. The problems were gone when I went back to explorer 6.

I DON'T KNOW
I WILL DOWNLOAD THE MOZILLA AND I WILL WORK WITH IT THOSE SITES EVENTUALLY
