Looking for a beginners Oud UK
Hi,
I new here and indeed to Ouds. I am looking for a beginners model and am UK based. CAn anyone offer any advice on obtaining one?

it depends what you want.
just browse and look around you will find plenty of info.
you will learn about styles of ouds etc...
and also the types of woods that are prefered.
there are thousands of possibilities for beginers.
depends on the direction you wish to take.
Turkish, egyptian (arab gulf), syrian, Iraqi.
they are all different ouds for different styles of playing.
then it depends on budget $
after browsing the forum for about a month you will have a better idea of what you want.
