the difference is in the inner nylon part which is more thick, and therefore is harder than 1013. But in my pyramid string calculator the string 1113
does't exist, there is 1111, 1114, 1116, 1124 etc.
best regards Maurizio

Thanks a lot for this clarification Lazzaro but i've two more questions :
Can i use the 1236 Pyramid lute string for the single bass F ?
What's the difference between 1013 AL and 1013 ?

in my pyramid calculator 1236 for bass F with 60 cm scale length has got a very hard tension -60N- in my experience is not the rigth one. In my
floating bridge oud -57 scale length- I use a 1032 for the bass and tune it F or E. I believe that each oud needs the rigth strings not all the
strings fit every oud.
The suffix AL is for aluminium and this strings have a very ligther tension, the 1013AL have the same tension of the 0,825 plain nylon.
good luck Maurizio

the first two digits in the Pyramid string number counts the number of the inside Nylon fibres of a string. Guitar strings have or need more to get a
more based sound.
Until one year ago, the 1113 has been not a standart string. By this reason it do not appear on the fret calculator. But now this string Pyramid made
a standart one, as I had ordered it very often, as it is a string in the set of Naseer Shamma, that I sell nearly very often. As it is now a standard
string, it has the same price as the 1013.
The ending "AL" at a string means that the wound metal is Aluminium, a much more lighter material than the silvered copper the other strings do have.
Therefore all the -AL strings give less tension. They have been often used on lutes, but now they are mostly replaced by carbon strings, as the AL
strings break earlier.
All the best Matthias

Hello Ahmed Bougacha,
except the 1236 ( 60 Newton !!! as Mauricio told you ) for the F you can use this set, but you have mor tension for the trebbles and less for the
basses. Dot you really want this?

Hello Mr Wagner,
in fact,i want the same tension for the basses and the trebbles but i've tried many strings for the basses and they break off.
Now i'm using this set on my floating bridge oud (58.5 cm) :
F:1035
CC:1116
DD:1013
gg:1007
cc:0.725
ff:0.650
i really love the 0.650 and the 1007;however, one of the 1116 is broken and the 1035 , 1013 , 0.725 have a low tension in my opinion.
I think that the best strings for my oud are:
single guitar bass instead of the 1035
0.750 instead of the 0.725
1016 instead of the 1116
and maybe 1111 instead of 1013 (if it has a more tension).
Please help me because i bought many Pyramid lute strings sets but i didn't find the right strings !!!!
