risha on mandolin

purely in the spirit of good and universal stringfellow-ship, i offer this example of how a risha technique developed on the oud can be used elsewhere:

Nice one BK, good stuff, - the mandolin and risha seem a perfect combination, I find that after playing oud, I can't use any other form of plectrum on any stringed instrument, the risha does it all and better, for me anyway.:)

me too - it wasn't easy (the guitar is impossible) but for instruments with paired courses, it's the most comfortable.

I've got several risha made of horn that are quite stiff. I just tried one out on my 12 string guitar and it sounds excellent! The steel strings do seem to wear down the horn very quickly though.
