Cengiz Sarikus Oud For Sale
I have an oud by Cengiz Sarikus for sale modeled after a Syrian design from around 1900. He calls it the Damascus 1900 model. It has a longer scale
than most Turkish ouds (60cm) and has a very nice soft sound, darker than most ouds made in Turkey. The top is spruce and bowel is mahogany with what
looks to be maple strips. The fingerboard is ebony, pegs are rosewood and the rosettes are animal horn. It has very comfortable action and great
sustain. The oud is pictured on his website, so you can go to

repaired by Sabah Al-tayyar in Ottawa. So, a word of caution is to keep it in a room with a humidifer if you have central heating. The oud is in
perfect condition and I will include one of the so-called Sukar cases. Paypal works for me and if you would like a longer sound clip, e mail me and I
