modifications??
Haluk, that looks like a fabulous instrument! I now have two ouds, and I wish that one of them was a flatback. I have issues with arthritis and my
right shoulder and wrist do not like the hyper-extension required when playing a traditional oud.
I was wondering; would it be very difficult to modify an existing roundback oud, say by cutting the bowl off approx 2-2.5 inches back from the
soundboard, and then adding a solid flat back? I have a couple luthier friends here that might be able to attempt such a modification, but I was
curious as to whether you had ever seen it done before??
Thanks!

Is this just a prototype or do you actually have these for sale. And if so, how much do they retail for?
Thanks!
