Hello.

I don't want to buy this( great!!!) oud, but i'd like to know the name of the golden wood from the back.
I think this is the same one , more waved, on my really cheap Ali Khalifa.....I suppose it's a middle eastern or mediterannean tree....

Hello francis,

the wood used in the aoud is beech which is a bit golden colored and the brown one may be walnut. I can say more if I get a more detailed pic.
