need some help

Hey, I am wanting an oud to begin on and I have read through this forum to see some options for a decent oud to purchase. I don't know a lot about ouds and what woods make a quality instrument. I am looking to spend no more than $500 on an instrument and I was hoping someone could point me to some reliable luthiers.

I found this site but I need a second opinion.
