Beautiful sound for this instrument. I was thinking of a Nahat but what made me in wonder was the fingerboard, I never seen this kind of fingerboard
on old instrument. Probably a recent restoration I guess, isn't it?

I think the extended fingerboard was added by Najib Shaheen, around 2001. Photos before then have the original short fingerboard.
