Hello All,
A quick note to say hello!
We are excited about exploring the forum as just joined after many years away. It is exciting to see how much the forum has grown and the renewed interest in the oud throughout the world. Wow!!!
Short introduction
Some of you might be familiar with Tarik's work such as his oud album "Vision" a collection of solo improvisations, duets, quartets and innovative uses of the oud. You can give a listen here: http://cdbaby.com/cd/alandalus3

We will be performing in the Festival du Monde Arabe du Montreal (http://www.festivalarabe.com) this October 31 (2008). Later in Madrid & Tangier (still adding dates)

We live part of the time in Portland, Oregon and the other part in Tetuan, Morocco.
