Very nice Seb. You and your teacher, Abdel Tebbaa, must be big fans of Samir Joubran. ;)

Regards,

Greg

salut sebsayak! you are playing really well for only one year! Not only does a good teacher help, but the student needs the ability to learn and play properly- you definitely have these qualites! regards, MW

Seb, I have listened to your bayati many times and it is like a breath of fresh air. I love the way you have phrased your passages as they allow the music to breath and create space for the listener to reflect as the music flows. I hope you dont lose this touch you have, it is graceful and promotes a sense of inner peace in me when I listen. Im beginning to tire of playing fast and of listening to fast oud playing, its everywhere. You have demonstrated in your bayati that there is much more to be said by staying cool and mindful. Thankyou so much for this little gem. Best, Charlie.
