Syrian - 1974 (help with label)
Here are photos of the 1974 Syrian oud available from John Bilezikjian. Again, you can contact him direct to inquire about this oud. I have seen and
played this oud. It really is a nice Arabic oud. Very good action, nice even tone, and very good sustain. You can email John at dantzrec@aol.com. He is asking $800 for this oud or best reasonable offer. He had the pegs changed professionally,
and also has his custom strings on this instrument.
Can somebody help translate please. Thanks.

Hey Mike,
very nice looking oud, and sure feels like it plays well too
well as for the label here's what I could figure out of the pictures you've posted,
Said Akkash "Sa3id 3akkash"
17/03/1974
Salhiya, Zin Al-Abdeen court.
Fouad Abdullah Al-Sak Storage.
I know Salhiya's an area in Damascus, but I don't know about the court or storage
I have not hared of this maker before, but again who can know about them all...anyways, hope this helps
Regards,
Ibrahim
