UK Oud's

Hi guys,

So glad I found this. I want to start learning to play the oud. I've been playing guitar for 13 years and am half arab, but only shamefully picked up an oud fairly recently.

The thing is - Where can I buy one in the UK?? I live near London.

Thanks everyone,

ramez

Hi Ramez,

First of all let me welcome you to the forums first which I didn't have the previliges you do have now when I bought an oud in the uk "online", frankly it wasn't what I was offered and even the pictures where misleading.
One good thing is Ramez in this forums you'll find professional first class oud makers and musicians, so my best advice is discuss your findings with forum members for help. We did have a few problems with ouds sold here as well so be careful and if you see any oud you like or offered its easy to load the image here and let people help you decide.

And by the way Ramez its never too late to learn the oud and the the fact that you played guitar will even make the transition easier.

All the best buddy and I wish you the best of luck finding a good oud to start with.

Cheers

Best Regards

Awad
