Moh.Fadel mentioned the golden secret of any good maker.
At (02:08) Reporter ask him" Do you play or know about music?"
He said" of course, I play oud and qanon ..... it is very important because i should know where is the problems is when i play it ....."
Any oud maker should be a good player so he can identify the problems with his products and correct them. I had one experience where a bought an oud a
while ago from oud maker that play oud in very basic way. No winder the oud was buzzing all over the fingerboard and when i ask him about that, he
said "You have to keep the oud tuned all the time and with time the buzzing will go away ...." ?!?!?!?!?
In fact, my money went away but not the buzzing
