Oud tonewoods

I'm thinking of buying some tonewoods and topwoods from the US to give to either Fathi Amin or Maurice Shehata to make my new oud.

I have had problems with the quality of woods in Egypt, and would prefer a two piece soundboard, a rarity in Egypt nowadays.

Has anybody tried this before? Where is the best place to get such woods? (over and above http://www.lmii.com/)
