I know John was at a funeral of a mutual friend in Fresno a couple of Saturdays ago; I talked to some friends of mine who were there, and John was
also doing fine...so I have to agree with Mav. I vote for John being in the live state.

Thank God.
There is not another oudist that I respect more, but, more importantly, JB is one of the finest men I have ever met in my life.
To say he is a brilliant musician is just not enough. To say he is an incredible human being--that comes closer to telling the whole story.
