This is such a bad tasteless clip. I feel sorry he wasted his time orchestrating this. It sounds awful. Most of his playing is out of tune and his tone is lost in the higher registers in the faster passsages. I dont know who this would impress exactly. He might of been better off playing a taqsim. Or orchestrating something worthwhile, from an Arabic great perhaps, not Western repertoire which is already played by western instrumentalists 10000 times better than this! This clip annoyed me.
Also filming him walking with his laptop etc was so stupid, trying to create this legend and character which is so old school, he doesnt look like he plays piano either, his hands werennt in a good position. Trying to make him cool which he's not, but I just feel sorry for the time and money gone into the production. Maybe Im harsh, but what are your thoughts guys?

I couldn't agree more! Especially regarding the difference in intonation with the other musicians and loosing it in the high register. And at the end it was a real mess. Sure he didn't impress me!
