I read about this project last year but didn't know about the website. People who are interested in music history would find the project interesting,
as it's an attempt to bring to life some compositions by the famous 14th century musician and writer, Abdolghader Maraghei. I was somewhat confused as
to why Persian Dastgahs and Maqams share the same names but sound nothing alike. There is a little bit of a clue in the intro section. The sound is
very Turkish, which I find interesting. The music group didn't go as far as the Bezmara group (from Turkey) to use instruments from the era
(disappointing ).
