New Fathy Ameen oud
hi everybody,
here is a new oud from the great oud maker Fatihy Ameen,
the top is made from spruce (reddish)
the back is made from east indian rosewood and curly red leaf maple,
the finger board is made from ebony,
bridge from brazilian rosewood,
the oud is designed by me,made by fathy ameen with touches from his student the young oud maker Mahmoud Mostafa,
oud cost is 2800$
there are two productions for Fathy Ameen ouds,one at his workshop at El saieda Aisha Sq, and the other at his son's workshop (saied Fatihi ameen )and
the lable is the same,
i prefer to have my ouds from the Fathers workshop,which all the ouds are made by his hand (mostly the top and braces) and the ornamentation by his
student Mahmud Mostafa.

we dont need to say that the commentary is not interesting without hearing the oud...
