Sameer Makhoul's first CD

I'm proud to annonce you that my master Sameer Makhoul released his fist CD yesterday.
I don't whant to seem subjective but:HE IS GREAT,and i'm proud to be his
student.

I have the CD yet.All the pieces are original creations of Sameer i.e.a bautifull Sama'i Suznak and a great Longa.He is a real virtuoso of Oud
and a real artist.

thanks for mentioning this as we already have updated this info. on our website).

I like Sammers playing, his right hand is great, especially his up/down - very clean and clear. I enjoyed the samai suznak - very pretty and the
mawwal on track 7, very nice

I'm glad that you reach the CD.
You are right,his technical playing is at the top,and a propos,he is playing with his left hand.
I think the purpose of this first CD was not to demonstrat his technical posibilities but to express his feelings in his proper compositions.It's
really something new wich was done with all the classical influances wich compose the arabic music.It was easy for him to play in his disc
classicals(samai,longa etc...)and this in one of the best ways others record them already!
