going to egypt!
hey, so after the seminar with yurdal tokcan in crete i'll be heading for egypt for three or four weeks. i plan on staying a few days in cairo, maybe
alexandria and i would like to see the desert also, but everything is still open.
i'll be going in about two weeks (beginning of august), will be hot i guess but so is tel-aviv. looking at weather reports it seems that august
temperatures get to about mid 30s, with 50-60% humidity, is it really that low? i thought it would be 40 or 50 degrees, but maybe just in the
desert.
anyway, other than the great "my trip to cairo" thread by Edward Powell, does anyone have any advice or recomendations for any part of egypt - music,
hiking, historical sight-seeing, places for gigs, whatever, anything is appreciated.
Thanks, Yaniv.
