Hi Folks

I think this piece came up a long time ago, but I was just looking through favourites and wanted to share these two videos from John Abercrombie with oud in mind;

firstly this one (which isn't Alice in Wonderland btw) which is just sublime

and this one which is a great thing to do for practice (or anything) which is improvising on one string

In both of these I love amongst other things the fluidity of his left hand, just beautiful to watch and he plays as if the frets are not there!!

1st one reminds me of indian sitar (with the drone and all), second one is kind of bouzouki liek every now and then (bouzouki playing involves a lot of singe string soloing!)
