buffalo horn rishas
Hi, glad to be posting on this site, there is so much great information here. Thank you!
I am wondering if anyone knows where to get buffalo horn rishas. I find that their texture is just right but they have to be thin enough to have the
flexibility that is effective.
I have also heard of cutting up plastic to make the risha. Can any one suggest what kind of plastic material might be suitable for this?

Jameel has those plastic blanks that you can make up into rishsa to suit your tastes. Also try a search on risha for other topics and posts. regards,

Those packs of 10 sold by MidEast Manufacturing or through any one of their dealers, work great for me. They look like Delrin, it's the same plastic
Harpsichord quills are made of. It's practically indestructible unless you fold it sharply, and even then it comes back. You can sandpaper them into
any shape works best for you.

What's REALLY funny is the exact same rishas sell for $4 to $15 for 10, depending on the reseller. They are all the same from the same MidEast
Manufacturing. Pick one of the cheap sources like on Amazon, and order two packs as the shipping is as much as 10 of them.

MidEast is the only source of horn reeshas, all the shops resell their picks, and they were out of stock this asummer, delivery was expected in
October.
