Hi all
I was lucky to find and purchase this very old Oud and thought it was worth sharing.
The maker is Mohammad Al-Turk who (according to the label) was located in Beirut.. The manufacturing year is not clear and written in The Islamic
Calendar (Hejri) and says 13??. According to the original Owner the Oud is more than one hundred years old!
I would like also to thank Luthiers Kameel Mwes (Nazareth) and Shlomo Moyal (Jerusalem) for putting this lovely instrument into shape again! The sound
of this oud is Just amazing! Would love to know some information about this Oud maker if possible.
