Anyone in Brisbane (Qld, Australia) on 21st Nov, might like to check this out, some great musicians , including my Iraqi folklore band Shanasheel.

Hey Sazi,

I will try to make it. I haven't had the opportunity to hear Greta's Tarhu. I have seen it, touched it, but not heard it.

And of course it will be a great opportunity to hear you and Shanasheel.

Regards,

Greg

Thanks guys, :) hey Greg, it would be good to finally meet you, and yes the Tarhu is an amazing instrument. When I heard it at the Bamedam camp I thought the nay was playing along with it but it was just the Tarhu!

Sazi,

On the same day as your gig, there are two, three hour Ta Ke Ti Na (taster) workshops at the Relaxation Centre in Brisbane. (morning and afternoon) These are short introductions to Ta Ke Ti Na. The big workshop is in Bangalow in March.

I find the Ta Ke Ti Na system a wonderful help in my playing and some of the other forum members have also commented on it, from time to time.

Regards,

Greg

Thanks Greg, I'll try and check it out, I could use it, I'm always too tense before a gig!

Just arrived home after hearing Sazi and his friends in 'Shanasheel'. A lovely set from the group and great oud playing. Mabrouk Sazi.

Regards,

Greg

Thanks Greg,

I appreciate your support, it was good to see you there.

Hopefully soon I will have some video footage up on my Youtube channel, - after the editing, (sound and two camera's) - which may take a week or so...

Cheers, S
