I don't know about Missouri or Ohio, but if you're here over the summer you should strongly consider attending Simon Shaheen's intensive Arabic Music
Retreat in Massachusetts.

The nearest Airport is Bradley Airport (Hartford/Springfield), but Boston isn't too bad.
