Any way you can post a few more pics (front, pegbox, things like that) and sound files? It looks like it could potentially have a nice sound to it.
The style with which the back was made reminds me a little of a Sabsaby Syrian oud.

The action of my Bashir Oud (Yaroub) is lower than the other 2 Turkish Oud (profesional model) that I own. Also no string damping or buzzing in any
area of the fingerboard while playing.

It depends who the maker is and also the design. Zul's oud is identical Shamma's and the action is very low. Yaroub prefer his own
neck/fingerboard design which make his model with the flat soundboard playable as any classical oud.
